Diane Henry Lepart

Diane is a Board Advisor to 01 Ventures, where she provides independent scrutiny over the finance, audit, investment due-diligence and monitoring, governance and risk management, based on expertise developed from over 20 years’ experience in investment banking.

Diane’s career has always straddled finance, technology, culture and politics, with a primary mission to unleash potential in individuals and communities. She is the founder of FEND Capital which focuses on providing strategic advice & investment in exponential technologies and scalable projects, primarily in agriculture, water and renewable energy, that sustain the environment and improve lives of the bottom billion on our planet.

Prior to FEND, she was a Vice President and the European Head of Asset Management Audit at Lazard, with oversight over the UK and European businesses. Her role over a 17 year period, encompassed advising the Chairman, CEO and Managing Directors of Lazard Asset Management, during which she was a member of the Group Compliance and Lazard Asset Management Audit Committees. During her Lazard career, she also worked in a personal advisory capacity on various UK parliamentary initiatives, election campaigns, charities and think-tanks, including Board Member of the African Caribbean Westminster Initiative, and Vice President of the Small Business Bureau.
