Kunal Sood

Kunal is the founder of X Fellows and Partner at X-Impact Group, who has made transforming the world his life’s purpose and mission through positively impacting the lives of a billion people by the year 2030 in working to realize the UN Global Goals.  He does this by actively partnering with Fortune 500 companies, non-profits, social enterprises, and ethical brands intent on making the world a better place such as Google, Facebook, SAP and Tencent Holdings as well as X Prize Foundation, Singularity University and the United Nations. 

He is the founder and curator of Novus, which is an inter-generational social impact summit and network that helps support the UN Sustainable Development Goals by uniting humanity through science, innovation, and technology as part of UNGA Week. For his steadfast commitment to the field, Sood has received many honors such as the RoundGlass Samsara Lifetime Achievement Award in 2017 at the legislative parliament of India, and has won numerous awards at the United Nations for his work as a leader in social impact, innovation, and media. 

Kunal is focused on promoting organizations that make a positive impact both locally and globally. He is strong advocate for human rights and economic empowerment for women entrepreneurs. He supports this with expertise in social innovation, transformational leadership and exponential technology and has successfully launched global movements and campaigns which include the End Polio, SDG Icons and Exponential Leadership. 

Kunal has spoken at TED, Forbes, Harvard, Stanford, UPenn, Nexus Global, United Nations General Assembly and the White House. He has a lifelong love for learning with an M.B.A., from Kellogg, an MA in Positive Psychology from Penn and is a graduate of Singularity University’s GSP based out of NASA AMES in Silicon Valley. He is a TED Resident and CCARE Fellow at Stanford.
